Presented for the project 8 Flags, Pierre Bismuth’s work Abstractions sur le thème des nations overhangs the Villa Paloma’s roof and welcomes the visitors.
Children and their parents will imagine new flags drawing inspiration from the compositions made by the artist
At the Villa Sauber, in the frame of the exhibition MONACO-ALEXANDRIE, The Great Detour. World-Capitals and Cosmopolitan Surrealism.
Imprints
Used by archeologists just as well as surrealist artists, frottage is a drawing technique allowing to reveal a surface’s reliefs. In this workshops children and parents will be initiated to this method and its variations. They will bring out drawings from the piece of paper, leaving chance, the material and the imaginary express.
Treasure hunt in the gardens of the Villa
Every week end, go discover the works presented in the gardens of Villa Paloma and Villa Sauber through a treasure hunt.Autonomous activity, appropriate for children from 7 to 12 years old
